Why we use mix bed with reverse osmosis system?
Mixed bed means a system in which water is passed through a hydrogen-containing cation exchange resin and a hydroxide-containing anion exchange resin. A hydrogen type cation exchange resin is used to remove cations in water; a hydroxide type anion exchange resin is used to remove anions in water. The mineral salts in the water are substantially removed by a mixed bed. In order to obtain a better desalination effect, the mixed bed is loaded with a strong acid cation exchange resin and a strong base anion exchange resin. Mixed beds are also divided into in-vivo synchronous regenerative mixed beds and in vitro regenerative mixed beds.
Equipment for the mixed bed processing process includes a hybrid ion exchanger and an in vitro regeneration device. Among them, the in vitro regeneration equipment mainly includes a resin separator, a cathode (yang) resin regenerator, a resin storage tower, a hybrid resin tower, and an acid-base regeneration equipment.
