First, the technical parameters of the security filter
Precision filters, also known as security filters, are usually placed in front of the pressure vessel to remove fine particles above 1 degree
turbidity to meet the requirements of the subsequent process for influent water; sometimes also at the end of the entire water treatment system
to prevent small Particles (such as broken resin) enter the finished water.
The precision and security filters produced by our company are made of SUS304 stainless steel, in order to meet the requirements of quick
replacement of filter elements. Its structural features are easy to open, the hoop type is used for opening, the flange connection structure
adopts the lifting ring quick opening mode, and the large filter adopts the rotary type sling quick opening mode. The surface is polished,
electrolytically polished, and sandblasted.
Cartridge Filter Working Principle
Unfiltered liquid enters CHUNKE cartridge filter housing and is distributed evenly around the water filter cartridges from outside to inside.
Solids are collected on the cartridges outside for easy removal.
The filtered liquid then exits through the outlet pipe of cartridge filter housing.
Bag Filter vs Cartridge Filter
Both are sediments filters, but most CHUNKE liquid cartridge filters have a much greater filter surface than bag filters as inner water filter cartridges have a pleated conformation.
CHUNKE filter bags can be reused for low operating cost, while CHUNKE cartridge filter inserts are normally disposable that they have to be replaced when the cartridge filter housing is clogged.
CHUNKE bag filters are mostly surface-type filters and are frequently used for dust removal with filtration media, such as activated carbon, needle felt, and nylon. CHUNKE cartridge filters, including multi cartridge filter and single cartridge filter housings can be surface or depth-type filters.
An industrial cartridge filter housing is preferred as sub-micron filtration where there are very low micron levels of contamination and fine particles need to be removed. In many cases, CHUNKE cartridge filter housings can be used as a final purification step.
